New Product Line Meets the Challenging Requirements of the Medical and Industrial Markets

Mansfield, MA — Astrodyne Corporation, a leading supplier of power solutions to the medical, military/aerospace, and industrial markets, has released the PMMX300 family of 300W embedded power supplies.

The PMMX300 product line includes single output versions from 12 to 48V with active power factor correction and full load operation across line voltages from 90 to 264Vac. The PMMX300 is designed to meet the challenges of applications in the industrial and medical markets, including motor drives, heating elements, automation controls, and pumps.

The PMMX300 family is approved to the latest Medical Standard, 60601-1 3rd Edition, with two Means of Patient Protection (MOPP) between primary and secondary. Careful consideration was given to audible noise where fan speed control is implemented, in order to meet the stringent requirements of operating room applications. Additional features include remote shutdown and remote sense.
