High-Performance EMI/RFI Suppression for Single-Phase Power Systems
Hackettstown, NJ — Astrodyne TDI, a leading provider of power and EMI solutions for demanding applications, today announced the release of its 022 Series Single-Phase Common Mode Inductors, a compact and versatile family designed to deliver effective EMI/RFI suppression across a wide range of industrial, medical, automotive, and power conversion applications.
The 022 Series supports rated currents from 3 A to 30 A and an inductance range of 0.27 mH to 10 mH, providing engineers with broad flexibility when designing power line filtering solutions and on-board filter stages for AC-DC and DC-DC power supplies, EV chargers, BESS systems, robotics, industrial machinery, motor drives, and medical equipment.
Designed with high-permeability ferrite cores, the 022 Series delivers effective noise attenuation over a wide frequency range while maintaining a compact, open-frame construction that supports both natural convection and forced-air cooling. Devices are available in vertical or horizontal through-hole mounting options, simplifying mechanical integration into space-constrained designs.
Key electrical specifications include 300 VAC / 1000 VDC maximum operating voltage, DC -400Hz operation. These inductors are hi-pot tested to 1500 VAC line-to-line, making the series well-suited for demanding and safety-critical environments. The inductors are designed for operation across a -40 °C to +125 °C temperature range, ensuring reliable performance in harsh operating conditions. UL, CSA, and IEC safety certifications are currently in process.
