ASX1100 Multi-Output Power Supply

Hackettstown, NJ – December 2022 – Astrodyne TDI, a global developer, and manufacturer of power conversion and EMI/EMC solutions, has released the ASX1100 Multi-Output Power System for medical applications. The ASX1100 is Astrodyne TDI’s first standard power system, designed to facilitate power housekeeping requirements and distribute controlled power to various sub-systems in a smart or connected surgical center. This new multi-output solution provides ten electronically controlled and monitored 2.2A outputs (combined max. 550W) and two 15A outputs (combined max. 550W), which can be manually controlled via the front panel switches. The ten electronically controlled outputs are controlled and monitored via RS-232.

This unique power system solution by Astrodyne TDI features a 1U rack mount configuration that is Class I input, with 2MOPP isolation and BF leakage current protection. It also operates over the input voltage range of 90 to 264VAC at 50-60Hz frequency and delivers up to 1100 Watts of regulated DC output power.

The ASX1100 is certified to the latest safety standards, including IEC 60601-1-1 3rd edition for medical applications, and complies with 60601-1-4th edition for electromagnetic compatibility. It can operate at temperatures between -20°C and +50°C at full load and includes overcurrent, over-voltage, and short circuit protection.
